Understanding Non-Suicidal Self-Injury Toolkit

Non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) is the deliberate act of causing harm to oneself without the intention of suicide, often used to cope with overwhelming emotions, trauma, or psychological distress.  This toolkit aims to provide educators, peer advocates, mental health professionals, caregivers, and community members with a comprehensive understanding of NSSI, including definitions, risk factors, warning signs, motivators, and practical coping strategies, to support individuals safely, reduce stigma, and promote healthy emotional regulation.

Sexual Assault Recovery & Healing

Coping Skills Guide for Survivors of Sexual Assault

This guide is organized by categories of coping skills, from grounding practices to creative expression, and reflects a range of trauma responses survivors may experience after an assault. While not all-inclusive, it provides a foundation for diverse, adaptable approaches to healing.
Whether you’re a survivor, advocate, or support person, I hope this resource offers validation, options, and the reminder that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all.
